Diary initiative: Maha Shakti Milk Producer Company

During the year 2015 on January Nari Uttha Sansthan with an objective to secure the livelihood of women from three blocks of Rajasthan initiated to register a milk production company namely Maha Shakti Milk Producer Company Limited under Companies Registration Act. Through which more than 709 farmers (women) secured their livelihood over the profit of company. Its members started to earn by selling of chilled milk, around 10000 liter to the local renowned diary production companies on a daily basis which is collected from 100 booths from surrounding villages. This initiative was started by the fomation of Maha Shakti FPO which was an initiative by the NABARD.
