About us

A grass root organization based in Rajasthan is working in the areas of women empowerment, health, environment, child labour, awareness programs and disability since 1995. When Nari Utthan Sansthan (NUS) was created, our purpose was to build a compassionate society where rights of women, children, elderly and disabled persons are respected and where health and education facilities and livelihood opportunities are easily available to everyone without any discrimination.18 years and 6000 thousand-success stories later, we are inching towards that dream steadily. About 2 decades of working for socially destitute women and their families across many villages in Rahasthan, we’ve learnt that a fair and flourishing society is only possible when you empower its women by tackling the root causes that continue to keep them uneducated, exploited and vulnerable.

Our Mission

NUS was founded in 1995 with the vision ,“To Create a compassionate society where the rights of children, the elderly and disabled people are respected, and where health, and education facilities as well as livelihood opportunities are easily available to everyone without any discrimination” to full fill the ultimate mission of contributing ”Towards an awakened and empowered society”.NUS aims to promote education and awareness about legal rights throughoutthe community especially among the underprivileged section of the society with a greater focus on women, elderly and differently abled people, as well as cater to their financial needs by encouraging and facilitating rural entrepreneurship among women.
